I have been thinking a lot about this concept.
It is the subject that my son and I have been processing.
I have just learned not to destroy the person who brings me the information. So, I am studying how to sit back, listen, and look before I emote.
I believe that the intellectual mind reacts/responds first with words and reason, and the emotional body responds/reacts with emotion,
which most of the time is impossible for the seemingly calm person to understand.(if the emotion is strong this person can get turned off, or feel victimized, because they cannot understand the
power of the emotional reaction.)

Personal processing behavoir in conflict responses means retraining the brain. This is a multiple intelligence that educators must learn and use.
This is another genious area!
